Walking out this morning into crisp air, brilliant stars, and a slice of moon. Heading for an MRI before the sun awakes. Waiting room is already full. I have an overwhelming gratitude for these medical folks, they barely have their eyes open but they are working and smiling.
Do you find it hard to head to work in the darkness of morning? Finding a smile as you fumble for car keys might be hard. Public service positions require a mind that’s clear and a crisp outlook, so before you get in your car take a big deep breath check out the stars, thank God for the day you have and don’t forget to smile. It will brighten someone’s day and open your eyes.
