A pre-dawn foggy morning drive gives this girl inspiration. The car conversation was peaceful as I drove Hubs to work. The radio only cranked for one awesome song by Ed Sheeran, Thinking Out Loud and then turned way down. A quick stop for breakfast with minimal but pleasant table talk, and then a sweet goodbye kiss, followed by the tender yet sporadically spoken words; I love you. On the return trip home the road and drive still foggy while the sun struggled to get a peek through the heavy clouds from the night’s storm.
Almost picturesque
At home the coffee is ready, the cup is filled and outside I go… to the patio. The sun is accomplishing its goal, and the mysterious fog, floats heavily across my face as I sip. As I stand surveying the sky and the surrounding properties, I can’t help but notice the misty air smells amazingly fresh and clean, the birds all over chirping anxiously, vibrantly drowning out any other sounds. Standing in that moment enormously content with my life, my faith and nature, nothing else matters. A cleansing moment of the utmost and badly needed because let’s face it life is full of ugly not so picturesque moments.
Join me…give yourself those cleansing moments, take time to sip the coffee and view all of Gods creation, breath in and be still.
God…life can be so ugly but the light of your love and word are cleansing and picturesque, may we purposely take time to rid ourselves of the heaviness around us and breath. In Jesus name amen.
