A sweet and simple tune flows on the breeze as the tweets sing their joyous songs of spring. I can’t help but smile. The dark of night gives way to the subtle colors of the morning sun, pinks, purples and golden rays that reflect upon the clouds. I can’t help but smile, as those rays touch my cheeks and warm my face. 

It is just like our Lord and creator to perfect such beauty, and then lavish it upon us. I can’t help but smile at the wonder and certainty of it all.

I cannot believe there were days in my past that I never took a moment to consider his blessings, his creation. I was too busy worrying over my current situations, fighting with ex’s and others, and running from my faith. Today, I want to spend every minute in God’s presence as there is no greater peace that I have found.

Join me today…and consider all of God’s many blessings in our lives. Name them, write them down as you think of them, then share them with someone…..when we do, we won’t be able to stop smiling..and neither will they.

Father, your love…your Son are the ultimate gifts/blessings, your creation reminds us daily and we cannot stop smiling. All praise and glory to you Lord! In Jesus name Amen.
