My Hubs adoringly called our daughter his little Princess when she was born. Now our granddaughter’s birth brought about a little controversy. Was our daughter dethroned? A new Princess was born. Hubs is whipped as two Princesses have his heart. A game most excitedly played by our now three yr old Gbaby is where her role as Princess is to be saved by the King aka Popie from the evil witch Meme aka Me. I think he enjoys the King part a little too much.
Growing up our daughter was drawn to compete in a few pageants. I can’t say they were beneficial to her. As a young adult now She still has the same insecurities she did then as a young pageant contestant. Now she enters her daughter in them and I can’t say I see any benefit so far coming for our little one.
Our girls at times believe they are royalty, and their tantrums prove it! But most importantly they know that in my husbands eyes they are and always will be his royalty. Raising one and helping with the other, we as a family have instilled that God loves them like royalty. The world looks at the outside but The Lord looks and chooses his winner by what’s on the inside. This teaching has proven to be very beneficial to both our girls, and it applies to all who accept Christ as their personal Savior. And being his royalty brings about lasting and meaningful benefits, the most important being love.
Would you like to be a Princess with lasting benefits, and have your name be known for eternity while being loved and adored. Give your heart to The King.
1Samuel 16:7 man looks at the outward appearance but The Lord looks at the heart.
Proverbs 31:30 charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears The Lord is to be praised
1Peter 2:9 but you are a chosen people a royal priesthood
Galatians 4 we are no longer slaves to sin as Christ came to redeem us, accepting this we are Gods children
