The day is over, and a new one will begin in less than twenty minutes. I would be sound asleep nestled comfortably beneath the cool sheets if I hadn’t taken a nap this afternoon. But what’s a girl to do on a lazy Mother’s Day, Sunday afternoon. I wasn’t necessarily tired when I drifted off, I was trying to block out the thoughts of it being Mothers Day while actually celebrating it by doing nothing but relaxing.

I spent a little time with each of my adult children over the weekend and cherished every moment. I hope that you also were able to embrace and cherish a moment or two wherever, you are on this journey called life.

As we begin a new week let’s join together to celebrate each day and to see within ourselves the wonderful purpose for which we were created! Let us lift each other up in prayer, kind encouraging words and deeds, as we work together, live together and walk together along our paths.

Women were created lovingly, thoughtfully and in the image of a gracious, caring, strong and mighty God. As we tackle this coming week with our unending duties, caring for our families, and putting endless energy into the workplace, let us remember we are not alone. As we take time to worship, pray and seek Gods word for wisdom may we do so with a celebrating heart!

Join me as we celebrate a living God, and the women he placed in our lives that surround us daily!

Father, we open our grateful hearts and minds up so that you can continuously fill us with your Holy Spirit. May we always be joyful and in celebration of our eternal life in heaven. In Jesus name Amen.
