Just a little update regarding my absence from FB and The Patio; all of these events are over a short period of time, that’s how we roll ! lol. We took a much needed few days to go home to Illinois to see family members who are ill and failing, and spent time with the healthy ones too! I quit a job to take a new job, I gave that job’s website and FB page ALL of my energy and attention, I even worked while I was on our trip, losing precious time with loved ones that I don’…t get to see but once every few years. Thankful for a job that can be done remotely, only to return and to be let go. Made it through yet another heated in-law “episode”. And we also inherited three more roommate’s, making it a total of 7 people in a small house. Add to that the daily chores and responsibilities of maintaining a home and family and you get…….little time for anything else!
All of this said without a complaint!
Life is full of moments, some joyful and some not so joyful, some easy and not so easy. Life is always changing. In my life the one thing that remains steadfast, true, balanced and rich is the presence of my God, my creator and Savior. HE is real!! HE is worthy!! and HE has me, my life and my family in his care. I am stirred by the events in life, but I will not be shaken by them. I am stirred by the HOLY SPIRIT not shaken by the world!! I encourage you all to see life in it’s moments, nothing lasts as life changes. If you feel tossed about and shaken by your life and it’s moments, then please consider letting the Lord be your anchor.
