After stepping outside this morning in the cool damp air my thoughts turned to Fall. My prayerful offering of gratitude was for the lower electric bill and I requested that we miss the whole heat wave this year.

How funny for me to think that God grants me my requests for perfect weather. While I do believe he is listening, and I have been blessed with many answered prayer requests, I don’t think he alters the weather just for me.

How selfish of me to request something that really effects the whole world.

Once I returned to the house, I experienced a slight nudging. A tug at my heart was evident. My whole conversation with the Creator this morning was one sided. He was still waiting …..

How often do you leave someone….God….waiting?
