Just as the day has begun to dawn. She jumps from her bed, stands at her closet door, undecided and unable to concentrate she grabs whatever is less wrinkled and throws it on. Scrambling out the door, with make-up bag in hand. Yawning and frowning she drives, applies lipstick and gets stuck in traffic.
Will you start your work week rested and ready? Do you spend the week wishing you had gone to bed just an hour earlier? Or rose an hour before the alarm clock went off. A little more time either way could be just what you need to handle that backed up traffic without yelling at other drivers. It could prevent you from snapping at your spouse before you rush out the door, instead kissing them goodbye.
Wishing we had, won’t make it happen. Coming home and plopping in that comfy chair getting caught up in TV, or surfing the web, won’t help you later. Taking advantage of the time change and getting a true extra hour of sleep will make you feel better. Being rested can equip you to handle busy life with more kissing less fussing, more laughing less frowning.
